Power of Choice Guided ConversationMonday, June 28, 2010 Guided conversations are two hours and designed for groups of six or more. These are ideal as a team-building exercise for the office, to set the mood for a weekend retreat, or to liven up an at-home get-together, such as a book club. You set the date, and together we come up with a topic to get everyone talking. Then on the day-of you sit back and participate while I lead the group. Sample Topic: The Power of Choice You don't always have control over what happens in life. No matter what, though, you always get to choose what you do about it. No kidding. During this two-hour guided conversation, we'll look at what's happening in your life right now, and use it to design what you want in the future: a committed writing practice, fulfilling relationships, work you love (or at least like). Gasp, even more time. Questions we will consider as a group:
Chances are that you already are successful. But, there's one sticking point. One thing getting in your way. This could be just what you need. A fresh perspective and a supportive
environment of like-minded women. Details… What: Power of Choice guided conversation |

Simply Leap at Rotary Club of PotomacMonday, September 19, 2011 Lauree Ostrofsky will speak at the Rotary Club of Potomac this week. Topic: Live, Work and Hug Like You Mean It. Details: Lauree launched her Hug Tour in April to show loved ones that she cares. Since then she spoke on the subject at Ignite Baltimore, and appeared on WUSA-TV in Washington, DC and The Huffington Post encouraging others to hug like-you-mean-it. Now, there are Hug Tour Ambassadors in 11 states and growing. Let's take that simple concept a step further. What if you could live and work the way you hug the people you love? Lauree will explore how to apply the like-you-mean-it conviction to the choices you make in your personal and professional lives. From the smallest decisions, such as having that second cup of coffee in the morning, to the most empowering -- what you tell yourself and how you want others to see you. Anything can be accomplished like-you-mean-it. Let it begin with a hug. Interested in having Lauree speak at your event? Contact us. |
