And we're back!

Welcome to new readers and welcome back to those who have been faithfully following all along.

If you've seen my blog lately, you'll have noticed a new series called How My Brain Tumor Will Change Your Life.

Six years ago, I had three surgeries to remove a benign brain tumor and in the process learned lessons that have propelled me forward. Two of them were that I had the power to effect major change in my life, and that I wanted to help others do the same.

So here we are. I'm imparting lessons from that experience to help you make the changes you're wanting.

For Your Reading Pleasure

Some of my latest blog posts:

How My Brain Tumor Will Change Your Life, Lesson 1: Be vulnerable.
Being real with the people around you paves the way for them to be themselves too. Someone has to go first. If you are in business, sharing something personal also creates a stronger bond with customers. Then they are buying from a person not just a company.

How My Brain Tumor Will Change Your Life, Lesson 2: Be scared.
Remember demystifying your childhood monster in the closet? Even now, when you admit that you're afraid, your adult monsters become less intimidating. Fear also is a signal that what's happening is important to you. When you know what you don't want, it means that you know what you do.

Are you a time aficionado?
Thoughts on embracing my (and your) new friend, Time.

Hold the boy; lose the man
If you're like me, and many of my clients, you're on the cusp of real change. In between almost-tasting the change you want, and holding onto the safe and familiar.

Finally, an oldie but goodie:

Secrets & hiding from the truth
For those of us who have learned the hard way that lying to 'protect' yourself or others is the biggest fib of all.

A Coach You Should Know

As a new feature, I will profile a coach (or three!) who you should meet. While I'd love for you to be my client, I also know that finding the right fit is important. If you read something that rings a bell, I encourage you to seek them out.
