What can I get out of coaching?

The short answer: what you put into it. For clients ready to commit to the process, change will begin to happen immediately. Ideas will make sense. People will show up just when you need them.

Benefits of Coaching

The long answer depends on several factors:

The Subject Matter

For career change, there are usually small steps that lead into bigger ones. For understanding yourself better and making decisions from an aligned place, clients may experience a difference right away.

Willingness of the Client

The coach and client are equally important to the success of the relationship. The coach is there to listen, to clarify and to challenge a client to step out of her comfort zone. The client is charged with coming to each session prepared to speak, willing to share and explore parts of herself she may not have before. If a subject area becomes off-limits, it could undermine our progress.

Structure of the Coaching Relationship

Coaches can work with clients one-on-one or in groups, so the structure and outcome will be different for each.
